A massive gable patio cover. The homeowners had a vision of what they wanted their backyard space to look like. They had a large patio space but something was missing. It was not really the focal point of their already stunning backyard. Ivan with I.D Building helped conceptualize the idea of a massive stunning gable patio cover. It was complement their beautiful home tying into their contemporary traditional style whilst providing a ton of functionality to the outdoor space. Now the patio cover needed to be quite large due to the existing patio space along with how tall the customer's home was. This patio cover would turn out to be a great centerpiece to the already stunning backyard. We took into consideration the design of the patio cover to complement the landscaping the homeowner had along with their newly constructed pool. The goal for this patio cover was to aesthetically and functionally improve the outdoor space. When beginning this large patio cover project we needed to ensure a seamless construction that matched the customer's home. We considered every detail and put much are into choosing a complementary stain color and all the additional elements such as lighting fixtures, electric fan, and hardware. Everything had to be cohesive and add an element of sophistication to make the space inviting and aesthetically pleasing.
